AboutTaryn
Hello everyone! My Name is Taryn Williams!
I was born and raised in New Jersey, I recently moved to down to Atlanta in 2020. I am a softball enthusiast, educator and coach! I have many job titles. Currently I am the head coach for Decatur High School located in Decatur, GA! Only a couple of minutes away from downtown Atlanta. I am also the current pitching coach of Agnes Scott College, as well as coach/instructor at NYO/ATL Patriots travel ball team.

A Few Words from Parents:
"Taryn is awesome. She’s the perfect energy level for reaching my 9 year old daughter. And her skill work is great and will get your child focused on the right aspects for pitching."
- Brie B.
"Coach T is enthusiastic and energetic. She challenges her players and expects a 100% effort, but does it in a way that makes it fun. My daughter's pitching and confidence has improved immensely under her coaching."
- Glenn S.
"Taryn has been a positive influence on my daughter's pitching. She's more technically sound, is mentally tougher, and has learned more pitches since beginning her work with Taryn."
- Tripp R.

I have played softball for well over 15+ years. A fun fact, I have coached and played in high school at the same time! I played at Lock Haven University, located in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania in the PSAC conference. I have played overseas in Italy, in places such as Milan, Florence and Rome.
After graduating grad school, I continued to play at the fastpitch level (23u) for many seasons until I relocated to Atlanta GA!
I was a late bloomer when I decided I wanted to be a pitcher. I more so fell in love with the process and the coaching side of being a pitcher in high school when I was helping out our starting pitcher as a freshmen. I then became fully committed to building a smarter, faster, and self-sufficient pitchers around high school starting with myself.
Once I became self-sufficient, understanding what my strengths were; I then became that person in college. Whenever I was called up to the mound I was ready because I knew EXACTLY what I was capable of and understood what my job was on the mound. From there on, I knew that if I was able to understand the art of pitching and what it takes to see the progression I could pass this on to my students and future athletes.
